A wonderful memoir written by Hugh Spence Hardy. It is a bit out of my realm of writing but this memoir is chock-full of fantastic stories that are so Canadiana. Filled with tales that journey from the great depression through the second war, Korea and benchmarks in Canadian history, Hardy delivers a beautifully written tale of life, hardship and achievement.
This book is the perfect companion. An easy read and definitely worth the trek.
